Atlantic City Real EstateAtlantic City, the Casino Resort of the East, is located in Southern New Jersey. Situated on an island just across the causeway from the mainland, Atlantic City is accessible via the Atlantic City Expressway as well as three other major highways. There is an international airport and several marinas offering anchorage for any size ship. Atlantic City is less than a one-hour drive from historic Philadelphia and about an hour and a half from New York City.
Atlantic City is comprised of many neighborhoods as well. The surrounding metro area is diverse with representations of true city life as well as rural beach and farming communities, all within a 5 or 10 minute drive. The local schools are some of the best in the country. There are several colleges and universities within the area also. Housing is affordable and can range from the modest to the extravagant. Life on the "Jersey Shore," specifically within the Atlantic City area, can be a year-round vacation. The activity of the summer months and the beauty of the fall are replaced by the quiet and peace of the moderate winter and spring. The people are welcoming and always glad to see a new neighbor. Atlantic City, the renowned vacation and entertainment resort, can also be a wonderful hometown.
